يذكر أن حالات الإعتداء الجنسي الجماعي ليست وليدة الذكرى الثانية لثورة  25 يناير فالظاهرة موجودة منذ شهر نوفمبر الماضي، لكنها استفحلت أخيرًا بشكل غير مسبوق، والحالات التي تم الإبلاغ عنها أو توثيقها لا تمثل جميع الوقائع

بل هناك حالات كثيرة فضلت عدم الإبلاغ أو الكشف عما تعرضت له
