تواصل فرار مسيحيي الموصل العراقية إثر تهديدات المسلحين - Christians continue to escape from Mosul after Iraqi militant threats

يفر المسيحيون العراقيون من مدينة الموصل شمالي العراق عشية تهديدات أطلقها مسلحو الدولة الإسلامية الذين سيطروا على المدينة في هجوم خاطف الشهر الماضي.

ودعا المسلحون المسيحيين الى إعتناق الإسلام أو دفع الجزية، وحاولوا فرض تفسيرهم المتشدد للشريعة الإسلامية.

وسعى أغلب المسيحيين للفرار إلى المنطقة الكردية القريبة ذات الحكم الذاتي أو إلى مناطق أخرى تحميها قوات الأمن الكردية.

زياد قراقوش إسحاق من بين الذين هربوا مع عائلته. وقال لوكالة "الأسوشيتد برس" اليوم إنهم فروا حاملين ملابسهم فقط.

ولجأت العائلة إلى كنيسة القديس جورج في مدينة إربيل الكردية شمالي العراق. وتعهد محافظ المدينة نوزاد هادي بحماية المسيحيين.

Christians flee Iraqi city of Mosul in northern Iraq on the eve of threats by Islamic militants who seized control of the state of the city in a surprise attack last month. 

The gunmen called Christians to embrace Islam or pay the jizya (fin) , and tried to impose a hardline interpretation of Islamic law. 

Most Christians have sought to flee to the Kurdish region nearby autonomous or to other areas protected by Kurdish security forces. 

Ziad Karakus Isaac from among those who fled with his family. He told the "Associated Press" Today, they fled, carrying only their clothes. 

Family and resorted to the Church of St. George in the Kurdish city of Irbil in northern Iraq. He pledged the city's governor Nawzad Hadi, the protection of Christians.
