قال الدكتور محمد البرادعي، نائب رئيس الجمهورية للشئون الدولية: إن اللقاء بين آشتون مسئولة السياسة الخارجية في الاتحاد الأوروبي والمعزول مرسي كان لقاءً خاصًّا وتسريب ما دار بينها لجهاز الإعلام أمر غير أخلاقي ولا يتفق مع القيم والمبادئ. وأوضح البرادعي خلال لقاء مسجل له مع الإعلامي شريف عامر على فضائية “الحياة” أنها غاضبة جدًّا من تسريب الحوار ووصفته بأنه أمر غير أخلاقي، وأشار البرادعى إلى أن هناك من يحاول جرنا مرة أخرى للخلف، وأننا نواجه الإخوان وبقايا نظام مبارك، إضافة إلى تدني مستوى الحديث والألفاظ يعني أننا نواجه مشكلة أخلاقية.
