تهديدات إرهابية وراء إغلاق السفارات الأمريكية في الشرق الأوسط - Terrorist threats behind the closure of U.S. embassies in the Middle East

قالت شبكة CNN الإخبارية إنه توافرت معلومات لديها، تشير إلى أن قرار الولايات المتحدة بإغلاق سفاراتها فى عدد من دول الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا، جاء بعد مراسلات بين شخصيات قيادية فى تنظيم القاعدة خلال الأيام الماضية، ورصد مخاطر متصاعدة من اليمن.

وأشارت المعلومات إلى أن العديد من المسئولين الأمريكيين كانوا خلال الأسابيع الماضية يعملون على مراقبة "تهديدات متزايدة" مصدرها اليمن، حيث ينشط تنظيم القاعدة فى شبه الجزيرة العربية.

ونَوَّهَت "CNN" إلى أنها قد وافقت على طلب مُقَدَّم من إدارة الرئيس باراك أوباما، يقضى بعدم نشر المزيد من المعلومات بسبب حساسية القضية.

وأشارت إلى أنه بحسب المعلومات المتوفرة فإن تزامن تزايد وتيرة المراسلات بين تلك الشخصيات القيادية، إلى جانب عمليات تهريب سجناء تنظيم القاعدة فى عدة دول بالمنطقة واقتراب موعد انتهاء شهر رمضان، دفع البيت الأبيض إلى اتخاذ قرار إغلاق السفارات.

من جانبها، قالت فران فراجوس توسند، خبيرة شئون الأمن القومى لدى CNN، إن المسارعة إلى إغلاق السفارات هدفه شراء الوقت والسعى لتحديد هوية الجهات التى قد تكون على وشك تنفيذ الهجمات.

وشرحت توسند قائلة "إذا أزحنا الأهداف المتوفرة عبر إغلاق السفارات فهذا سيوفر المزيد من الوقت من أجل محاولة اعتراض تلك الخلايا أو التعرف عليها وعلى مشغليها فى بلد محدد أو فى المنطقة والسعى مع الشركاء من أجل القبض على أفرادها".

For its part, said Fran Frajus the Tosnd, an expert of national security affairs at CNN, that quickly come to the close embassies goal buy time and seek to identify those that may be on the verge of carrying out attacks.

The Tosnd explained "If we dislodged  the targets available through the closure of embassies, this will provide more time to try to intercept those cells or identify them and the operators in a specific country or in the region and seek with partners in order to capture its members."
