She Never Expected Such A Beautiful Gift When He Took The Following Photo...

French photographer Réhahn Croquevielle aka Réhahn has fallen in love with Vietnam, so much so that he has made this Asian country his new homeland. He has published five books of which four were of the people from this exotic country.

His latest book Vietnam, Mosaic of Contrasts, the Frenchman used the photo of 74-year-old Bui Thi Xong for his book cover. The elderly woman is a rower whose boat was old, consequently she was struggling getting tourists to hire her. Réhahn promised the woman that if his book was a success, he would buy her a new boat.

Réhahn loved this photo so much he used it as the cover for his book. Bui Thi Xong was not used to having her picture taken. She was so shy she hid her face behind her hands.

Réhahn loves the beauty of the elders in Vietnam: their wrinkles on their faces and their rough hands.

The Frenchman promised Bui Thi Xong that if his book was successful, he would buy her a new boat.

The book was released last year. Bui Thi Xong became popular in Vietnam overnight, she's appeared on tv shows.

Réhahn true to his promise, gifted Bui Thi Xong with a new boat. Now, her business is thriving.

Here are more beautiful photos shot by Réhahn.

Syria: Saudi Arabia Says Assad Must Go

Foreign minister Adel Al-Jubeir says there are no circumstances where Bashar al-Assad can remain in power – whether that exit is through politics or by force

United States Secretary of State John Kerry (R) meets with Adel Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia at the Palace Hotel in New York, September 26, 2015.

Saudi Arabia has called on Bashar al-Assad to give up power or be removed by force, raising the global stakes at a time when the Russians are shipping troops and military hardware to Syria in an effort to prop up its beleaguered leader.

The threat was made on Tuesday by Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister, Adel Al-Jubeir.

“There is no future for Assad in Syria,” Jubeir told journalists at the UN general assembly. “There are two options for a settlement in Syria. One option is a political process where there would be a transitional council. The other option is a military option, which also would end with the removal of Bashar al-Assad from power.”

“This could be a more lengthy process and a more destructive process but the choice is entirely that of Bashar al-Assad.” The foreign minister did not specify how Assad would be forcibly removed, but pointed out that Saudi Arabia is already backing “moderate rebels” in the civil war.

The Saudi intervention fuelled an already heated row at the UN over Syria’s future, where the Russian president, Vladimir Putin, issued a forthright defence of the Syrian regime, describing it as fighting a lonely and “valiant” battle against Islamic State extremists.

Saudi Arabia says there is 'no future' for Assad in Syria

Putin has redoubled his support for Assad by a significant and growing military deployment in Syria. US officials said on Tuesday that four advanced aircraft, Sukhoi Su-34 “Fullback” fighters had arrived at Latakia air base in western Syria, bringing the total number of Russian planes stationed there to over 30.

The planes are ostensibly there to attack Isis, but have yet to fly any combat missions, western officials say. Laurent Fabius, France’s foreign minister, derided Russian claims to be leading the anti-terrorist campaign in Syria, as “media strikes rather than real strikes”.

“The fight against Daesh [the Arabic acronym for Isis] is an absolute necessity but it must not be just a fight only through the media. It must be a real one,” he said. “And when I’m looking at who is really committed in the fight of Daesh … as far as Bashar al-Assad is concerned, it’s still recent and it’s still modest. So as far as our Russian partners are concerned, up to now they didn’t yet [do anything] against Daesh.”

By contrast, Fabius said: “We the French this week struck against a Daesh camp. We have to judge realities and not mass media.”

The US has also carried out airstrikes against Isis inside Syria, and following an Obama-Putin summit on Monday – which US officials said brought greater clarity on Russian intentions – the US defence secretary, Ash Carter, issued instructions on Tuesday for communications channels to be opened with the Russian military to avoid the chance of collision on exchange of fire in Syrian airspace.

The US meanwhile sought other means to contain Isis. As Barack Obama opened the anti-Isis summit on Tuesday, the US government announced sanctions against 25 people and five groups connected to Isis in moves it said were aimed at hitting the activities of financial, logistical and recruiting operatives.

Opening the summit, Obama said: “This is not going to be turned around overnight … There are going to be successes and there are going to be setbacks. This is not a conventional battle. This is a long-term campaign – not only against this particular network, but against its ideology".

“But, ultimately, I am optimistic. In Iraq and in Syria, Isil [another acronym for the Islamic State] is surrounded by communities, countries and a broad international coalition committed to its destruction,” he said. “Like terrorists and tyrants throughout history, Isil will eventually lose because it has nothing to offer but suffering and death.”

Reiterating his position that Assad cannot stay, Obama said: “In Syria, defeating Isil requires a new leader and an inclusive government that unites the Syrian people in the fight against terrorist groups. This is going to be a complex process. And as I’ve said before, we are prepared to work with all countries, including Russia and Iran, to find a political mechanism in which it is possible to begin a transition process.”

Fabius also argued it made no moral or practical sense for Assad to remain if the goal was to rebuild a new, free and united Syria.

“How can you imagine that the Syrian refugees – 80% of whom fled Syria because they were under threat from Assad – how can you imagine that they go back to Syria if we tell them that the future of Syria is Bashar al-Assad?” Fabius asked. He said a political transition mechanism had to be negotiated, but was not specific about timing.

Meanwhile, he said that France had revived the idea of the creation and enforcement of “safe zones” inside Syria where civilians would be protected both from the regime and Isis.

“It could be an idea to have within Syria one or two or three … safe zones, security zones, in order that these zones will be able to welcome Syrian people without forcing them to go out of the country. We are working on that,” Fabius said, again without offering details on how such zones could be achieved.

Russia continues to promote a separate negotiating effort, seeking to recruit countries to its view of Syria and the need for Assad to remain. The foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov, is chairing a ministerial meeting to that end on Wednesday. French officials said that Fabius would attend.

Indiana State House Majority Leader Resigns in Bizarre Sex Video Scandal

Indiana State House Majority Leader Resigns in Bizarre Sex Video Scandal

Indiana State House Majority Leader Jud McMillin — invariably described as a “rising star” in the Republican party — has speedily resigned after a cellphone video of a sex act was reportedly sent to people in his contacts list. McMillin subsequently sent out a mass text claiming his cellphone was “stolen in Canada.” This should be good.

There’s very little information about the contents of the video or who received it, but McMillin abruptly resigned on Tuesday, with the Indianapolis Star reporting that he said in statement via email that he “decided the time is right for me to pass the torch and spend more time with my family.” He added, “Now I want to focus all of my attention on making my family’s world a better place.”

McMillin’s renewed interest in his wife and children — his Facebook page indicates he has four, including one just three months old — comes after said sexy video was sent from his phone. That was followed on September 21 by a weird apology from McMillin, who said anything “offensive” was not his doing:

“My phone was stolen in Canada and out of my control for about 24 hours. I have just been able to reactivate it under my control. Please disregard any messages you received recently. I am truly sorry for anything offensive you may have received.”

McMillin, formerly a lawyer, was elected to the State House in 2010 despite a previous scandal when he was an assistant county prosecutor, the Star reports. He reportedly became romantically involved with the complaining witness in a domestic violence case he was prosecuting; a local website claims the victim later sued him for emotional distress and legal malpractice, providing a PDF of what it says are the court document in the case. (McMillin doesn’t appear to have been sanctioned by the Indiana Bar Association.) He was also investigated by the Star in 2013 for financial conflicts of interest, accused of voting for a project his law firm would benefit from.

Raw Story points out that McMillin signed on to a “religious freedom” bill that would’ve allowed Indiana businesses to refuse to serve LGBT patrons, and advocated for drug-testing welfare recipients. His Twitter page has already been deleted, as has his page on the Indiana House of Representatives website. And the video, whatever it is, is probably going not going to remain a mystery for very much longer.

Exclusive : 5 of The Strangest Skulls Ever Discovered

Archaeology has uncovered a great deal about our past but we’ve barely scratched the surface. The Earth holds many secrets but sometimes amazing discoveries are made and these skulls are proof.

These unusual skulls were turned up by the excavation of a burial mound in Bradford County, Pennsylvania in the late 1800s. The three researchers overseeing the dig were stumped when instead of 13th century Native American remains, the burial mound revealed what looked like demon skulls.

Besides the horns growing out of the foreheads, the skeletons had another intriguing feature: they were seven feet tall!

Could these skeletons be the remains of an ancient race of giants that inhabited North America thousands of years ago? Some have drawn parallels between this discovery and the mysterious Mound Builder civilization from prehistoric times. A number of megalithic structures have been attributed to this elusive civilization and some researchers claim evidence points toward the Shining Ones or Nephilim.

The remains were sent to the Philadelphia Museum and have since disappeared, eliminating the possibility of a thorough analysis.

These strangely-shaped skulls have been causing quite a stir since their discovery in 1928. The 300+ skulls have been dated at over 3,000 years old and some researchers believe this discovery warrants a change in the accepted anthropological paradigms.

While many cultures practiced head binding in order to achieve an elongated head, these particular skulls seem to have a different story. While head binding modifies the shape of the head, it cannot increase the cranial volume in any significant way.

So how can we explain the fact that the Paracas skulls are 25% larger and 60% heavier than regular human skulls?

In an attempt to shed some light on this mystery, a series of DNA tests were arranged by the Director of the Paracas Museum of History. Samples of skin, hair, teeth and bone fragments were sent to a genetic laboratory for analysis and the results were amazing.

As it turns out, the skulls belonged to a very distant relative of Homo sapiens. The mitochondrial DNA presented mutations that were never found in any other human beings.

This skull was discovered in a mine near Chihuahua, Mexico in the 1930s. It remained in the family of the digger and regarded as a curiosity.

In 1999, paranormalist Lloyd Pye got a chance to examine the skull, claiming that it was evidence of interbreeding between humans and aliens. Pye called it the Star-child Skull, believing his mother had been a human female while his father had originated somewhere between the stars.

The skull belonged to a five year old boy who died almost a thousand years ago. Some researchers suggested that the skull is deformed due to a condition called hydrocephalus but Pye claims DNA analysis showed no evidence for this affliction. The same DNA testing also revealed so many genetic differences between Star-child and regular humans that he could be considered a totally different entity. His cranial cavity is 30 percent larger than that of a normal child.

Despite being much thinner, the skull bones are actually stronger, due to the presence of unusual microscopic fibers in its structure, a feature not seen in normal human skulls.

Nobody knows what this is or where it is. All we can say with certainty is that it actually looks like the skull of an alien creature.

alien skull 11

There are many reasons why the scientific community refuses to admit the existence of extraterrestrial beings on Earth but the one that is invoked the most is the absence of bodies or physical remains. However, this reason often creates a no-win situation because almost all evidence is either dismissed as hoaxes even when they are not or simply vanish before they can be studied. Such is the case of the Rhodope alien skull, a fascinating relic the likes of which have never been seen before.

alien skull 2

This skull was found in the Rhodope Mountains in Bulgaria by a man from Plovdiv, a city located 90 miles (150 kilometers) southeast of the capital city of Sofia. The man, who chose to remain anonymous discovered the skull buried alongside a small elliptical metal object.

His interesting story began after having a dream in which five humanoids wearing yellow metallic clothes directed him to a spot in the Rhodope Mountains, near the border between Bulgaria and Greece. On the 21st of May, 2001 he headed to the spot the strangers had indicated and surely enough, the skull was there.

His finding generated a lot of excitement and controversy and many ufologists consider it evidence for the existence of aliens and their presence on Earth.  He initially presented his find to a narrow circle of people interested in the paranormal but the skull did not remain secret for long.

The skull was examined by archaeologist Katya Malamet of the Bugarian Academy of Sciences and by Professor Dimiter Kovachev, the Director of the Paleontology Museum in Asenovgrad. Both of them have said they have never seen anything like it before.

The skull is as small as a human baby’s but its bone structure is lighter and thinner and it weighs only 250 grams (8.8 ounces). It has six cavities that researcher think belonged to the alien’s sensory organs. When alive, this being possessed six eyes or perhaps other completely unknown organs. Interestingly, it has no mouth hole where we would expect to find one.

Professor Kovachev is positive it is not a fossil and does not resemble any hominid skull known to science. “We couldn’t find any analogy or correlation with anything from the past 30 million years,” Kovachev said.

Skeptics believe the skull belongs to a still unidentified animal species although its features do not resemble those of any other animal.

alien skull1

There are several interesting theories about the Rhodope skull. Renowned Bulgarian psychic Koubrat Tomov believes it belonged to a genetically engineered being, created by the Atlanteans. According to him, the skull represents the remains of a failed experiment that occurred thousands of years ago in that area.

Another theory states this is likely the remains of  hastily buried alien, killed by soldiers operating in the area during World War 2.

The Bulgarian villager who found the skull said that he had been made several generous offers to sell it. Unfortunately, the skull disappeared before scientists had the chance to perform DNA analysis and carbon dating. Whoever the owner is today, he obviously doesn’t want to share his possession with the rest of humanity, even though it could be evidence for the existence of aliens.

This fascinating relic was found in the Rhodope Mountains in Bulgaria by a man who claimed to have received instructions in a dream. According to his account, five humanoids in yellow suits showed him the spot where he was supposed to dig. Heeding their call, the man discovered this skull, buried alongside an elliptical metal object.

The skull is as small as that of a human baby but packs enough mystery. It’s much thinner and lighter than human bone, weighing only 8.8 ounces (250 grams) and it has six cavities, indicating an unusual number of eyes or perhaps different sensory organs.

The Director of the Paleontology Museum of Asenovgrad had a chance to examine it and said it resembles nothing he’s ever seen.

Theories about its origin range from remains of ancient failed genetic experiment to hastily buried alien but it seems we’ll only be left with speculation, as the skull has disappeared without a trace. The man who found it said he had been offered a large sum of money in exchange for the skull.

Whoever owns it wants to keep it secret.

These are undoubtedly the most interesting and controversial skulls ever found. While some consider the Crystal Skulls to be nothing more than modern forgeries created in the 1950s, others believe these artifacts hold the key to both our past and our future.

Legend has it that a long time ago, there were twelve planets inhabited by humans, each planet possessing its own skull. The thirteenth skull served as a link between the rest of them.

Those who came on contact with the skulls say that they witnessed strange and unexplained occurrences. The skulls apparently talk and can even project holographic images. They are also said to possess healing powers and the secret to longevity.
