صورًا لمخابئ زعيم تنظيم القاعدة السابق أسامة بن لادن طوال فترة اختفائه البالغة 30 عامًا والتي حيرت المخابرت الأمريكية إلى أن قامت بالكشف عن مكانه في الثاني من مايو عام ٢٠١١ بمدينة أبوت أباد الباكستانية وقامت القوات الأمريكية بقتله.

أسامة بن لادن كان دائم التنقل بين مدينة "جلال اباد" وجبل يدعى "تورا بورا" – والذى يبعد حوالى 3 ساعات بالسيارة عن المدينة- اكتشفه هو بنفسه عام 1980 أثناء الحرب السوفيتية في أفغانستان.

ويظهر فى معظم الصور شخص يدعى أبو مصعب السورى، سورى الأصل، وهو أحد أكبر معاونى بن لادن، ورفيق دربه، الذى تمكنت القوات الأمريكية من القبض عليه فى باكستان عام 2005 وتم ترحيله إلى بلاده.

بن لادن كان شديد الكره للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وسياستها فى الشرق الأوسط، كما أنه كان يحلم بإقامة دولة كبيرة تضم مجموعة من دول الشرق الأوسط الأسلامية لديها مليشيات مسلحة، بدأ التخطيط لها من أفغانستان.

Bin Laden was a great hatred of the United States and its policies in the Middle East, as he was dreaming of building a big country with a group of Middle Eastern Islamic states countries with armed militias , planning began in Afghanistan.
