Celebrities and their 4-legged friends

The furry friends of the rich and famous are walked, snuggled and toted around in designer handbags, and whether they're on movie sets or strolling through the streets of L.A., these pampered pups and fancy felines don't seem the least bit star struck by their celebrity owners.

Sandra Bullock
Sandra Bullock takes two of her special needs dogs, Poppy and Ruby, for a walk in New York City today. The Academy Award winner is a big-hearted dog lover who has adopted three dogs with special needs: Poppy is a Chihuahua-Pomeranian mix with three legs, Ruby is a two-legged Chihuahua, and BeBe (not pictured) is a Chihuahua that's missing an eye. Bullock adopted all of her pups from California animal shelters.


Adrian Grenier
"Entourage" star Adrian Grenier cleans up after his pup at a dog park in West Hollywood. Grenier is known for his love of dogs, often snapping photos of himself with canine co-star, Rocky, and once attempting to save a dead dog he found while jogging.


Blake Lively
Blake Lively keeps her maltipoo puppy Penny warm on the set of “Gossip Girl” by wrapping the tiny dog in her coat. This adorable pup is clearly used to being pampered, and the National Enquirer reports that she doesn’t like sharing Lively with boyfriend Ryan Reynolds’ dog, a golden retriever mix named Baxter.


Amanda Seyfried
Amanda Seyfried hikes with her Australian Shepherd, Finn, in Los Angeles. Seyfriend says Finn is her best friend and recently told OK magazine that she doesn’t like to stay out late because she just wants to get home to her dog.


Denise Richards
Denise Richards and her daughters, Sam and Lola Sheen, adopted two kittens from the Baldwin Park Animal Shelter during its "Somebunny Love Me" event. Richards is a well-known animal lover and adoption advocate who works with the Best Friend’s Animal Society’s “Pup My Ride” program, which relocates shelter dogs to areas where they’re more likely to be adopted.


Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian talks on the phone while an assistant from the grooming salon takes her boxer, Rocky, to the car. Rocky became a star on the reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” when he was neutered because Kim opted to get him Neuticles, canine testicle implants made from silicone.


Al Pacino
Al Pacino takes his two adorable pups for a walk in Los Angeles. Say hello to his little friends!


Kristen Chenoweth
Kristen Chenoweth’s Maltese, Maddie, is the tiny actress’ constant companion. The pup travels with the singer and actress, and Chenoweth is so devoted to her dog that she founded the charity Maddie’s Corner in her name. The organization supports animal shelters and other animal groups and has helped numerous homeless animals.


Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus holds her teacup Yorkshire terrier, which she adopted in 2011. Cyrus bought Lila, who was originally named Luna, from StarYorkie.com for $1,400. It seems Cyrus is wild about her pups — she recently tweeted a picture of her new ring, which holds a photo of her dogs, and referred to herself as a “crazy dog lady.”


Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner — who is pregnant with the couple’s third child — walk their German shepherd in Brentwood, Calif. The dog is a new addition to the family, which also has a yellow Labrador retriever named Martha Stewart. (Garner is a big Martha Stewart fan.)


Ciara
Ciara carries around her puppies, Tyson and Georgia, while she does some shopping in Los Angeles. The dogs are the singer’s “everything,” she says, and she brings them with her everywhere. Check out some of the adorable pups’ tricks in the video below.

Actor, director and musician Adam Goldberg carries his two puppies outside in New York City. The actor's miniature Pinsher is called Sheriff Steve Goldberg.


Holly Madison
Model and TV personality Holly Madison poses for photos with her dogs Napolean, Josephine and Louis during a photo shoot for the cover of The Vegas Dog. Madison is an animal rights advocate and has appeared in many PETA campaigns, and she’s also done public service announcements for Last Chance for Animals, including an “Adopt. Don’t Shop.” campaign.

Actress Rachel Bilson walks her dog, Thurman Murman, near her home in Los Angeles. The actress reportedly misses her pup so much when she’s traveling that she calls him on the phone.
