توقع الباحث الأمريكى بمعهد واشنطن لدراسات الشرق الأدنى إيريك تريجر، أن تواجه مصر صيفاً مليئاً بالأزمات، منها أزمة نقص الوقود والغذاء، وتقلص فرص التوافق السياسى بين الفرقاء. وحمّل الباحث الأمريكى الرئيس محمد مرسى وتنظيم الإخوان المسئولية عن تدهور أوضاع مصر، لأنهم -بدلاً من الاستماع لمعارضيهم والتواصل معهم- منعوهم وقمعوهم، وفى هذه الأجواء، حسب «تريجر»، انتشرت حملة «تمرد»، التى تعبر عن مدى إحباط المصريين من الإخوان وحكمهم.

ورسم «تريجر» صورة سوداء للأوضاع فى مصر، فقال إن إحصاءات وزارة الداخلية المصرية تؤكد ارتفاع معدل جرائم القتل بنسبة 120%، وارتفاع جرائم السرقة بنسبة 350%، وزيادة عمليات الاختطاف بنسبة 145%، فى الوقت الذى انخفض فيه احتياطى مصر من العملات الأجنبية، من نحو 36 مليار دولار عند سقوط «مبارك»، إلى 14.42 مليار فى شهر أبريل الماضى، رغم الوديعة الليبية (2 مليار دولار).

وأوضح «تريجر» ارتفاع مخصصات رواتب الجهاز الحكومى بعد الثورة بنسبة 80% لتصل إلى 25 مليار دولار سنوياً، بعد التوسع فى توظيف المواطنين فى الجهاز الحكومى، وإضافة 400 ألف موظف جديد. وأضاف أن الاضطرابات السياسية وانعدام الأمن أدى إلى نفور الاستثمار الأجنبى، وأضر بالقطاع السياحى بشكل كبير.
