بعد ذلك يقوم أهل "موروبي" يتقطيع أيدي وألسنة الموتى وإعطائها لذويهم في يوم زفافهم أو خطبتهم وثم يقومون بإحضار الهيكل العظمي الخاص به حتى يحضر زفاف قريبه.

يرجع السبب الحقيقي وراء إقدام أهل "موروبي" لتعليق جثث الموتى بهذا الشكل أنهم يعتبرونها حارسهم الذي يرعب أي شخص من دخول هذه القرية. 

جدير بالذكر أن هذه العادات كانت تتم بأمر من الكنيسة الكاثوليكية قديماً ولكن تم الإقلاع عن هذه العادات إلا من بعض البلاد النائية.
