إذا كنت تعتاد شراء المنتجات الغذائية بنفسك من السوبر ماركت، فسترى دائمًا بعض الحروف والرموز الموجودة على بعض عبوات المنتجات، والتي نتساءل دائمًا عن معناها ومضمونها، وتلك الرموز الغامضة التي لا نفهم معانها، تنطوي على معلومات هامة تفيد المستهلك، ولابد أن يكون على وعي بها.

وجود ذلك الرمز على المنتج الغذائي، يعني أن المنتج لا يحتوي على لحوم أو ألبان، وهو ما يعني أن المنتج محايد.

OU-D:

ذلك الرمز يعني وجود منتجات ألبان داخلة في تصنيع المنتج.
