"Google," the company purchased drones to provide Internet in developing countries - "جوجل" تشترى شركة طائرات بدون طيار لتوفير الإنترنت فى الدول النامية

أعلنت شركة جوجل عملاق الإنترنت، أنها استحوذت على شركة "تايتان إيروسبيس" المتخصصة فى صناعة الطائرات بدون طيار، فى مسعاها لتوفير الإنترنت للمناطق الأقل نموا فى العالم، وفقا لصحيفة وول ستريت جورنال.

وتقوم الشركة الوليدة ومقرها ولاية نيو مكسيكو، غربى الولايات المتحدة، ببناء طائرات بدون طيار تحلق على ارتفاعات عالية وتعمل بالطاقة الشمسية، ولم ترد أنباء عن قيمة الصفقة وقالت جوجل: "تتقاسم تايتان إيروسبيس وجوجل تفاؤلا عميقا إزاء إمكانات التكنولوجيا الرامية لتحسين العالم".

يذكر أن "فيس بوك" كانت تسعى لإبرام تلك الصفقة مع "تايتان إيروسبيس" فى أوائل مارس الماضى، لكنها بدلا من ذلك استحوذت على شركة "أسينتا" البريطانية المطورة للطائرات بدون طيار، والتى تعمل طائراتها أيضا بالطاقة الشمسية، وقدرت قيمة تلك الصفقة بمبلغ 20 مليون دولار.

The fledgling company , based in the state of New Mexico , the western United States , building drones flying at high altitudes and solar-powered , there were no reports about the value of the deal , Google said : " share the Titan Aerospace and Google optimistic deeply about the potential of technology designed to improve the world."

The "Facebook" was seeking to conclude the deal with the " Titan Aerospace " in early March, but instead acquired company " Osenta " British developer of unmanned aircraft , which operate aircraft also solar-powered , and the estimated value of the deal at $ 20 million.
