"Bob" the first security guard electronically in Britain - "بوب" أول حارس أمن ألكتروني في بريطانيا

"بوب" هو أول حارس أمن ألي في بريطانيا، هو جهاز ازرق مستقل يجوب أروقة المكاتب و يستطيع طلب المساعدة اذا علق في مكان ما كما يمكنه التحدث إلى زملائه و هو جزء من مشروع تجريبي للإنسان الآلي من جامعة "برمنجهام" يهدف إلى تعميم الإنسان الألي في المكاتب حول العالم.

يتحرك بوب من غرفة إلى غرفة مستخدماً المسح الضوئي والتصوير ثلاثي الأبعاد وفي حال ملاحظته أن شيئاً ما قد تغير منذ زيارته الأخيرة، فانه يحلل الأمر بسرعة ويرسل المعلومات إلى حارس أمن حقيقي.

يستعين "بوب" بالكاميرات والماسحات الضوئية حتى يستطيع إنشاء خريطة للمنطقة المحيطة به، وحفظ مواقع المكاتب والكراسي، وكذلك الكشف عن الأشخاص الذين يتحركون وتعلم التغييرات في البيئة المحيطة.

ويقول الدكتور "نيك هاويس" من كلية علوم الحاسوب في جامعة "برمنغهام" أن الروبوتات الحالية لا تجيد استعمال الأيدي، و ليست قادرة على التعامل مع الأشياء، ولكن بوب مميز في مهمة التنقل بين المكاتب و رصد التغيرات، لذلك فهو مثالي حتى يتقلد وظيفة حارس أمن باعتباره يستطيع الحراسة ليلا ونهارا و رصد ما يجري في محيطه المباشر.

"Bob" is the first security guard in Britain, is a Blue independent prowling the corridors of the office and can ask for help if stuck in somewhere and can talk to his colleagues and is part of a pilot project of the robot from the University, "Birmingham" aims to mainstream robotics in offices around the world. 

Bob moves from room to room, using scanning and three-dimensional imaging in the event observed that something has changed since his last visit, he quickly analyzes it and sends the information to the security guard is real. 

Uses "Bob" cameras and scanners can even create a map of the area surrounding it, and save office locations and chairs, as well as the disclosure of people who move and learn the changes in the surrounding environment.
