في أعقاب سماح الرقابة العسكرية نشر خبر يفيد بأن الصحفي الأمريكي الذي أعدمه تنظيم الدولة الإسلامية في العراق والشام "داعش" مؤخرًا يحمل الجنسية الإسرائيلية، ذكرت القناة الثانية على موقعها الإلكتروني بأن "إسرائيل" ولأول مرة قامت باتخاذ خطوات ضد "داعش" كونها منظمة إرهابية على حد تعبيرها.
وعلمت القناة بأن وزير الجيش الإسرائيلي قد صادق يوم أمس الأربعاء على مرسوم رسمي يعرف تنظيمي داعش وكتائب عبد الله عزام بأنهما محظوران، ما يعني أنه سيكون بمقدور أجهزة الأمن الإسرائيلية اتخاذ إجراءات قضائية ضد تنظيمات أو تجنيد أموال وموارد أو أي نشاط آخر يتعلق بالتنظيمين.
ووفقًا لما جاء على موقع القناة فإن مصادقة وزير الجيش على المرسوم بناء على توصية قدمها جهاز الشاباك الإسرائيلي، ويأتي هذا الإعلان الإسرائيلي في أعقاب قتل "داعش" للصحفي "ستيفان سوتلوف"، الذي يحمل الجنسية الإسرائيلية.

According to the site, the channel .the Secretary of the Army authentication on the decree on the basis of a recommendation made by the Israeli Shin Bet, and the announcement comes in the wake of the killing of Israeli "ISIS-Daash" to the journalist "Stefan Sutlov", who holds Israeli citizenship.
