A Mexican pilot has been sacked after letting a singer into the cockpit and allowing her to fly the plane.

Esmeralda Ugalde, 23, and her actress friend Samadhi Zendejas, 19, were let into the cabin by the captain, with pictures later emerging of the singer sat at the controls.

The pilot, who has not been named, was sacked after the pictures, showing Miss Ugalde wearing his hat, went viral on Twitter.

The pilot of the plane from Cancun to Mexico City was sacked after the pictures were 

posted on Twitter

تم السماح لإزميرالدا أوغالدي، 23 عاما، وصديقتها الممثلة سمادي زانديجاس (19 عاما) بالتواجد في المقصورة المخصصة لقائد الطائرة، وتم نشر صور أخرى بعد ذلك تظهر المغنية أمام عدادات الطائرة التى بينت أن الطائرة كانت تطير بالفعل.

The pictures were posted online to Miss Ugalde's 40,000 followers but have since been deleted. 

 

 

The Magnicharters pilot, who was flying between Cancun and the capital Mexico City, was identified by the airline and fired.

الطيار الذي لم يتم الكشف عن اسمه، أقيل وطرد بعد ظهور تلك الصور، والتي تبين ملكة جمال أوغالدي ترتدي قبعته، وتم نشرها وتداولها على تويتر.

Miss Zendejas tried to defend the captain by saying they had only entered the cabin when the plane was on the ground, but by then the pilot had admitted that he let the young women in during the flight.

Company spokesman Jorge Badia confirmed that the captain who allowed Miss Ugalde, sister of Latin Grammy Award winner Ana Barbara, and Miss Zendejas to enter the cockpit had been sacked.

He said: 'We cannot allow a pilot to make this kind of mistake, it is just not allowed. Even if the autopilot was working it is not allowed to do something like this. We cannot even allow people to enter the cabin, even if they are actors or actresses.

قائد الطائرة الشارتر ، الذي كانت تحلق بين كانكون والعاصمة مكسيكو سيتي، تم تحديده من قبل شركة الطيران وقاموا بطزده والتحقيق معه فورا بعد التعرف على هويته.

'We are a serious company and we are deeply saddened about the fact that one of our staff behaved in this way. Flight law dictates visitors are not allowed to enter the cabin during the flight.'

حاولت ملكة الجمال زانديجاس الدفاع عن الطيار بالقول أنهم دخلوا فقط المقصورة عندما كانت الطائرة على الأرض، ولكن العدادات أظهرت غير ذلك والطيار قد اعترف بأنه سماح للشابات بالتواجد في أثناء الرحلة.

Strict rules imposed following the September 11 terrorist attacks mean pilots are not allowed to let any passengers into the cockpit for any reason, Mr Badia added.

وأكد المتحدث باسم شركة خورخي باديا أن الطيار الذي سمح لملكة الجمال أوغالدي، شقيقة الحائزة على جائزة جرامي اللاتينية آنا باربارا، وملكة جمال زانديجاس الدخول قمرة القيادة قد اقال وطرد من العمل بالطيران نهائيا.

وقال: 'نحن لا يمكن أن نسمح لطيار أن يقوم بهذا النوع من الخطأ، ولن نسمح به. حتى لو كان الطائرة بوضع الطيار الآلي وكان يعمل فلا يسمح أن تفعل شيئا كهذا نهائيا لسلامة الركاب . ونحن لا يمكن أن نسمح حتى للناس بدخول المقصورة، حتى لو كانت الجهات الفاعلة الممثلات سياسيون او ممثلات او وزراء او أيا كانت مهنتهم وهذا يخالف القانون الدولى.

"نحن شركة جادة، ونحن نشعر بحزن عميق إزاء حقيقة أن أحد موظفينا تصرف بهذه الطريقة. ويفرض قانون الطيران أنه لا يسمح نهائيا للزوار أو الركاب بالدخول للمقصورة أثناء الرحلة".

وأضاف السيد باديا أن قواعد صارمة فرضت في أعقاب هجمات 11 سبتمبر الارهابية وتعني أنه لا يسمح للطيارين أن تدع أي من الركاب أو ير المصرح لهم نهائيا الدخول الى قمرة القيادة لأي سبب من الأسباب.
