هناك مجموعة من الجسور الرائعة في العاصمة البريطانية لندن، اشهرها جسر البرج، مؤخرا برزت الحاجة إلى جسر مشاة جديد ليربط بين منطقة ناين إيلمز ومنطقة بيمليكو، لذلك أقيمت مسابقة لإختيار أجمل تصميم للجسر، وكانت النتيجة تصميمات مذهلة في معظمها، ولكن بعضها غير قابل للتطبيق، لأن الميزانية لا يجب أن تتجاوز 60 مليون دولار .
