Liisa Luts runs a professional photography and videography company in Tallinn, Estonia. When she was planning her wedding on August 28, she decided to be her own photographer.
The decision may seem unusual since she knows a lot of great photographers willing to capture the special day for them.
“I just felt that I want something different, not those posed beauty shots and not that post-processed glamorous photo gallery.
With all respect to the wedding photographers, I just wanted something more ‘us’ and therefore more authentic.”
Luts documented her day from the moment she woke up.
Intimate moments of the couple getting ready together, Luts holding her bouquet on her drive to her nuptials are delicate, simple, and beautiful.
The newlywed hopes that her photos will inspire others to not always do things by the book.
