وبدلاً من نقل عظامهما الى مكانها بأحد المتاحف الايطالية قطعة قطعة ثم إعادة تجميعها فكر علماء الآثار فى نقل الهيكلين مع جزء الارض الذى يرقدان عليه بالكامل وتمت عمليه النقل في يوم عيد الحب في عام 2007. ويذكر العلماء الذين أشرفو على هذا الإكتشاف أن هذان المتحابان يمثلان أقدم قصه حب موثقه معروفه في التاريخ الموثق.

Archaeologists uncovered a tomb in the city of Mantua in Italy featuring two of the bone structures embracing each other dating to the Neolithic period by approximately 5,000 to 6,000 years.
