«The Guardian»: Britain warns citizens of incidents of harassment and rape in Egypt - «الجارديان»: بريطانيا تحذر مواطنيها من حوادث التحرش والاغتصاب بمصر

اهتمت صحيفة “الجارديان” بحادث الاغتصاب التي تعرضت له السائحة البريطانية في شرم الشيخ بمصر، حيث نشرت تقريرا تحت عنوان “الشرطة البريطانية تتولى التحقيق في ادعاء بريطانية بتعرضها للاغتصاب في مصر”.

وقالت الصحيفة البريطانية، عبر موقعها الإلكتروني، إن سيدة أعمال بريطانية أدعت أنها تعرضت للتحرش والاغتصاب على يد رجال أمن في إحدى الفنادق بشرم الشيخ، الأمر الذي ستدعى الشرطة البريطانية في “هامبشاير” للانضمام للتحقيقات التي تجرى بخصوص هذه الواقعة المزعومة.

وأضافت الصحيفة أن السيدة وهي في الأربعينات من عمرها تقول إنها تعرضت للاغتصاب أثناء إقامتها في فندق خمس نجوم في منتجع سياحي بمحافظة شرم الشيخ.

وأضافت الصحيفة نقلا عن السيدة أنها كانت تتوجه لحجرتها في الفندق بصحبة أحد رجال الأمن العاملين به عندما حدثت الواقعة مؤكدة أن عناصر الشرطة في هامبشير قد بدأوا تحقيقاتهم في هذا الأمر كما تم إعلام وزارة الخارجية.

وأوضحت الصحيفة نقلا عن متحدثين باسم الشرطة والخارجية أن الواقعة المزعومة تمت في السادس من الشهر الجاري وأن الخارجية على علم بوقوع حادث لأحد المواطنين البريطانيين في الخارج وأنهم يقدمون الاستشارات المطلوبة.

وقالت الصحيفة إن وزارة الخارجية البريطانية نشرت عبر موقعها على الإنترنت تحذيرا لمواطنيها المسافرين إلى مصر من ارتفاع نسبة التحرشات الجنسية هناك.

وحسبما أشارت الصحيفة فإن موقع الخارجية البريطانية يؤكد أن هذه الحوادث أخذت في الارتفاع في مصر منذ عام 2011.

وأكدت الخارجية البريطانية أنها تلقت 23 شكوى تحرش جنسي بالإضافة إلى 6 شكاوى اغتصاب لمواطنيها في مصر خلال عام 2012 ، كما أن أغلبها حدث في مواقع فندقية يفترض أن تكون آمنة.
