ملامح الإنسان قبل 10 آلاف عام: تمثل لغزًا كبيرًا

تمكن باحثون من كشف تفاصيل وجه جمجمة متحجرة، يعود تاريخها لأكثر من 9500 عام، وتعد واحدة من أهم القطع الأثرية الموجودة بالمتحف البريطاني.

Researchers was able to detect the face of fossilized skull details, dating back to more than 9,500 years ago, and it's one of the most important artifacts in the British Museum.

اعتمد الباحثون على تقنية الطباعة ثلاثية الأبعاد، ونجحوا في كشف ملامح الجمجمة من خلال تجويف العينين، وتصوير الملامح الدقيقة للوجه بدقة.

The researchers relied on the three-dimensional 3D printing technology, and succeeded in detecting The features of the skull through the eye cavity, and imaging features delicate face accurately.

و كانت الجمجمة تمثل لغزاً كبيراً، لأنها كانت مطموسة المعالم، حيث تعتبر جمجمة «جيريكو» واحدة من 7 قطع أثرية تعود للعصر الحجري.

And the skull was represents a great mystery, because it was totally blurred, where the skull is considered «Jericho» one of the seven artifacts dating back to the Stone Age.

واكتشفتها عالمة الآثار، كاثلين كينيون عام 1953 في موقع تل السلطان بالقرب من مدينة أريحا بالضفة الغربية في فلسطين، ونجح الباحثون عبر عملية رسم ملامح الوجه في معالجة الأنف المكسور بالجمجمة المتحجرة، وهو ما يؤدي إلى التعرف بدقة على ملامح الإنسان بالعصر الحجري من خلال النماذج ثلاثية الأبعاد.

And it was discovered by archaeologist Kathleen Kenyon in 1953 in Tel Sultan site near the West Bank city of Jericho in Palestine, the researchers succeeded through the process of drawing the facial features in the broken nose fossilized skull treatment, which leads to identify accurately the human  features of the Stone Age through a tripartite 3D models dimensions.
